David A. Post
Attorney David Post is Connecticut born and raised. David grew up in Ellington, Connecticut, where he graduated from Ellington High School (’95) before attending Colby College and the University of Connecticut (B.A. ’99). He obtained his law degree from Western New England University (J.D. ’03) and is licensed to practice in Connecticut in both state and federal courts. His professional experience includes working at and eventually joining the partnership at one of Connecticut’s premiere litigation defense firms (2003 – 2016), where he worked on some of the most complex and high value cases of the past decade. David formed Post Law, LLC so as to fulfill his dream of owning and operating his own law practice and helping individuals and their families who find themselves in need of counsel as they face a divorce, or other family dispute. In addition to his family law practice, David also helps individuals who have suffered serious personal injury or have been accused of a crime. David prides himself on client service, responsiveness and achieving optimal results for each individual. He is devoted to Honesty, Excellence and Advocacy in the practice of law and will zealously represent your interests and protect your rights with a thorough analysis of each case and an action plan tailored to each client's unique circumstances.
David has experience in Family Law cases involving divorce, child custody, and child support. His personal injury experience includes cases involving medical malpractice, professional negligence, wrongful death, catastrophic injury, motor vehicle and motorcycle accidents, premises liability and slip and fall cases, defective products, dog bite injuries and various other significant claims for injuries and damages. His criminal defense practice focuses on defending individuals who have been accused of driving under the influence and drug possession crimes.
David lives in Glastonbury, Connecticut with his wife and two sons. He is an active youth sports coach in town and enjoys playing basketball, golfing and skiing in his spare time.
